 Flexible Fee Options

At Blossoming Minds Daycare, we aim to provide high-quality childcare that is accessible, nurturing, and flexible for families. Our fees reflect the level of care, learning opportunities, and individual attention we provide to every child.

We understand that every family’s needs are different. That’s why we offer a range of flexible childcare options to suit your schedule and circumstances.

Our Options Include:

Full-Year Places
For families who require consistent childcare throughout the year, we offer full-year places across 51 weeks, with fees spread evenly for easier budgeting.

Term-Time Only Places
We provide term-time only options (38 weeks), ideal for families who only need childcare during school terms. Fees are still spread monthly for convenience.

Full Day & Half Day Sessions
You can choose between full-day or half-day sessions, depending on what works best for your child and routine.

Funded Sessions (No Additional Fee)
We offer funded sessions for eligible families. These sessions can be accessed without additional fees for the funded hours themselves.
(Please note: meals, snacks, and additional services are not included in funding)

Temporary / Ad-hoc Childcare
We also provide flexible temporary or ad-hoc childcare, subject to availability. This is ideal for families needing occasional or emergency care.

Terms and Conditions

Opening Hours

We are open 51 weeks per year, closing for the last week of December, all Bank Holidays and 4 Inset days.

Core hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 6:30pm

Fees & Payment

• Fees are payable monthly in advance by Standing Order.

• Fees are spread evenly across the year, including bank holidays, 4 inset days, and nursery closures.

• Fees include meals, snacks, and learning materials (not covered by funding).

• Missed sessions cannot be refunded or swapped.

Deposits

• A deposit of up to £500 or one month’s fees is required to secure a place.

• The deposit is deducted from the final invoice.

• Refundable if two months’ written notice is given before the start date.

Funding (15 & 30 Hours)

• Funding is available from the term after your child turns 9 months, 2 years, or 3 years, subject to eligibility.

• Funding covers 38 weeks per year only.

• As we operate 51 weeks, funding can be stretched across the year

• Funding does not include meals, snacks, or additional services, which remain chargeable.

• Funded hours are allocated as sessions to reflect staffing and operational costs.

Term-Time Only Places

• Available subject to availability.

• Based on 38-week attendance, with fees spread monthly.

• Sessions must remain fixed and consistent.

Temporary / Ad-hoc Childcare

• Subject to availability and must be pre-booked and paid in advance.

• 24 hours’ notice required for cancellations.

• Non-refundable if cancelled late.

• Funding does not apply.

• A 5% discount is available for existing families.

Discounts

• 5% sibling discount (eldest child)

• 5% key worker discount

• Only one discount applies at a time
  
  

Late Collection

• £10 for the first 15 minutes

• £15 for every additional 10 minutes thereafter
  
  

Notice Period

• Two months’ written notice is required for: Termination of place

• One months’ written notice is required for: Changes to sessions or attendance
