My name is Jing Li, but everyone calls me LJ. With over 10 years of experience in nursery management, I specialize in bilingual learning, EYFS curriculum development, staff training, and creating enriching early years environments. I hold a PGCE in Early Years from UCL, an MA in Community Music, and I serve as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (Level 3), Health & Safety Lead, SENCO, and a qualified Level 3 Assessor at Blossoming Minds Daycare.
As a mother of two young children, I understand the joys and challenges of early childhood. My passion for flowers, gardening, and music adds a creative touch to the nursery. As a professional opera singer and piano player, I often share music with the children, creating a joyful and engaging atmosphere.
I am dedicated to fostering a vibrant, inclusive, and nurturing space where every child and staff member can thrive.

25 Years in Childcare • Literacy & Phonics Lead • Creative & Organised
Hello, my name is Sarah Oliver, and I bring 25 years of experience in early years education to my role as a Nursery Assistant. I hold a Level 2 qualification in Childcare & Education, and I’m certified in Paediatric First Aid, Food Safety, Safeguarding of Children, Autism Awareness and Fire Safety.
Over the years, I’ve developed a strong passion for helping young children learn through structured routines, rich learning environments, and carefully planned activities. I take great pride in keeping our learning spaces well-organised, engaging, and purposeful, creating the right balance of challenge, fun, and comfort for every child.
One of my key roles in the nursery is tracking children’s developmental progress, ensuring each child is supported in reaching their milestones across all areas of learning. I pay close attention to their interests and strengths, and I use this knowledge to plan next steps that truly motivate and excite them.
I have a special love for delivering early literacy and phonics. Whether it’s reading interactive stories, leading sound-based games, or linking storytelling to expressive arts and numeracy, I’m always looking for creative ways to make learning meaningful and enjoyable. I also enjoy extending maths learning through play, helping children build early number awareness and problem-solving skills through everyday activities.
I’m especially known for my arts and crafts sessions, where children can express themselves and build confidence—one of their favourites is making pompoms, which always brings lots of smiles!

My qualifications include a Level 3 in Pre-school Practice, Level 2 in Understanding Autism, and certifications in Level 2 Food Hygiene and Level 2 Safeguarding of Children.
As a mother of two university-aged children, I love cooking and baking with the children at the nursery. I admit I may spoil them a little with delicious treats and plenty of messy play activities, but it’s all part of the fun in creating a warm, engaging space for them to thrive.

Creative • Calm • Patient
Hi, my name is Megan, and I’ve been working in childcare for over 5 years. I hold a Level 2 qualification in Childcare and Education and certifications in Food Safety, Health and Safety Awareness and Safeguarding of Children. My journey in early years education has been incredibly rewarding, and I feel grateful every day to be part of a child’s world, watching them grow, explore, and discover.
I’m especially passionate about helping children learn through creative play and art-based activities. I love setting up inviting spaces where little hands can explore painting, mark-making, and crafting—these are not only fun but also support fine motor skills, self-expression, and confidence. It’s wonderful to see children beam with pride over something they’ve made.
One of my strengths is staying calm and patient, even during the busiest moments of the day. I know how important it is to offer children a gentle, consistent presence, especially when they’re learning to regulate their emotions or navigate new challenges. I believe that each child is unique and learns in their way and at their own pace. My approach is always child-led, and I enjoy taking the time to listen, observe, and follow their interests—whether that’s in messy play, creative expression or parties.

I bring a warm, caring presence to the nursery, and I absolutely love being part of each child’s early learning journey. I hold a Bachelor of Education and an MBA, and I’m trained in Safeguarding, FGM Awareness, and Prevent Duty. I have one year of teaching experience in early years, and it’s been a joy to grow alongside the children. I’m also the nursery chef, and I truly enjoy creating fantastic, world-wide and home-style meals that keep our little ones happy and well-fed. My hobbies include gardening, traveling, and of course, cooking. I’d describe myself as positive, empathetic, and honest—qualities that help me build strong, trusting relationships with the children. They often say they love how I become a child right along with them! Before working in childcare, I was a yoga teacher, and I still bring that sense of calm and mindfulness into our daily routines.

I hold a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification and am trained in Safeguarding, Paediatric First Aid, and Food Hygiene. Hello, my name is Francesca, and I’m proud to be part of the Blossoming Minds Daycare team. I bring with me over 4 years of experience as a Nursery Assistant, and I’m currently completing my Level 2 qualification in Childcare, with plans to continue my Level 3 studies further very soon.
I hold a certificate in Paediatric First Aid, Level 2 Safeguarding, Child Protection, Food Safety and Hygiene, and I support SEN children. These areas are very close to my heart, and I am dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment where every child feels supported in their unique journey.
I originally come from Italy and speak Italian fluently, with intermediate English and basic Spanish. I love bringing my cultural background into the nursery through cooking classes, storytelling, and engaging play. Language and diversity help children see the world in a beautiful way.
Before fully stepping into childcare, I gained experience in catering and sales, and I also completed my A-level in Human Sciences. Hello, my name is Ariana, and I’m so happy to be part of the team here at Blossoming Minds Daycare. I am bringing with me a strong passion for working with children and a unique background in Travel and Event Management, Commerce & Marketing, and Hairdressing Assistance. While my previous studies are not in early years education, they’ve equipped me with valuable transferable skills—like creativity, adaptability, and excellent communication—all of which help me build meaningful connections with the children in our care.
I speak Spanish and Portuguese, and I love sharing these languages with the children through songs, stories, and playful interactions. Language is such a powerful way to spark curiosity and confidence, and I believe it’s a beautiful gift to offer in a diverse nursery setting.
Though I’m new to professional childcare, I have completed training in Health and Safety, Food Safety, and Safeguarding Children, and I’m deeply committed to continuous learning in this field. Most importantly, I bring a loving, empathetic approach to every child, rooted in my own experience as a mother, which has taught me patience, care, and an understanding of early development.
Before joining childcare, I worked in hospitality, where I learned how to multitask and create warm, welcoming environments. I enjoy travelling, music, dance, nature, and photography, and I love using these interests to inspire creativity and joy in the nursery.
One of my favourite moments is when a child smiles at me or reaches out for a cuddle—it’s such a wonderful feeling of trust and connection. I aim to provide a calm, nurturing space where every child feels safe, heard, and valued.
A fun fact about me: I taught myself Portuguese through music! I look forward to being part of your child’s early years journey and helping make their days at Blossoming Minds full of warmth, fun, and discovery.
