“After visiting quite a few nurseries across Greenwich, we felt genuinely relieved when we found Blossoming Minds. The staff really understood how to make the settling-in period work, taking time to build our child's confidence at their own pace rather than rushing things. What's struck us most is how much they communicate with us about the day - we always know what our little one has been doing and how they're getting on. The outdoor learning is brilliant too, and they seem so much more engaged and curious since starting. It's clear the team genuinely care about each child's development, and that's made all the difference for our family.”

Nursery in Greenwich
Blossoming Minds is a full-day nursery on Woolwich Road in Greenwich SE10, purpose-built for children from 3 months to 5 years. We sit five minutes from the town centre, with free parking on site and easy access from Maze Hill, Westcombe Park and North Greenwich stations. Our team brings decades of early years experience and several languages between them, which matters in a borough as richly diverse as Greenwich.
Why families choose us
Our approach
Every room at Blossoming Minds has been designed for a specific stage of childhood. The baby suite is calm and sensory-rich, built around the needs of children under two. The sensory room supports children with SEND and any child who benefits from a quieter, more contained environment. The preschool room is built around early literacy, creative play and the growing confidence that comes from being given real responsibility. The sleep room means children who need rest can have it properly, without interruption. And the dining hall is where children learn to share a meal, hold a conversation and feel part of something bigger.

In practice
Our team holds qualifications up to Level 7, and several members have 25 or more years of experience in early years. Our director brings the added perspective of a career in nursing and midwifery. Most of the team speak three or four languages, which is not a footnote but a genuine part of how we work. Children growing up bilingual or multilingual will find someone here who reflects their world. The result is a setting where every child is known as an individual, not simply managed through the day.

For families in Greenwich
We are open from 7:30am to 6:30pm across 51 weeks of the year, because most families do not run to school-term rhythms. You can choose a full-year or term-time place, add ad-hoc sessions when you need them, and adjust your pattern as your family changes. Every week, children head to Greenwich Park, local playgrounds and the library. We also have our own Energy Hub, an indoor grassed adventure space for days when going out is not possible. An in-house chef prepares fresh, balanced meals daily, including world flavours and full allergy and dietary accommodation.

What Greenwich families say
The families already with us can tell you more than we ever could. What they notice most is how their children come home talking, whether that is counting in Spanish, reciting phrases in Mandarin, or describing exactly what they made for lunch. That tends to say everything.
“A diverse team that genuinely cares for the kids. My daughter started at 11 months, now 21 months and all you have to do to make her smile is talk about the staff and her friends from nursery. It was a real find for us!! Out little lady waits outside patiently until the door opens and runs in all excited every day. She is well fed and sleeps better there than at home! Great space on the inside (don't let the outside deceive you), air conditioned in Summer, adapted rooms for each age group, but with occasional joint activities. Daily trips to a park weather permitting. You can leave your foldable buggy. Accessible from Westcombe Park Station, a good choice of bus routes, too.”
“I'm so happy with my son’s experience here, he’s 2 and has absolutely thrived since starting. The nursery are always offering jam packed experiences for the children from trying out cooking to exploring local places. The staff are truly wonderful. So friendly, approachable, and clearly passionate about what they do. It’s such a comfort as a parent to know he’s in such caring hands. The senior management team are equally lovely and always available to support, especially during those early, nerve wracking days of settling in.”
