“The care givers are kind, warm and attentive toward my child's needs and development. My son has grown more confident and social in the last 6 months. The atmosphere is good with teachers taking care of dietary requirements, special mention to his teacher Chandu ma’am for taking such good care of him. They also do lot of both indoor and outdoor fun activities for kids for their overall development. I would highly recommend blossoming Minds for little ones.”

What Sets Us Apart
Three things that make the difference every day
Every nursery talks about nurturing potential. The families at Blossoming Minds talk about something a little different: flexible childcare that works around busy lives, carefully designed spaces for every age and stage, and a multicultural community where many children grow up speaking two or more languages.
01Built for every part of their dayDedicated spaces for learning, play, mealtimes, rest and discovery, all under one roof.
Every room at Blossoming Minds exists for a reason. The baby room is calm, soft and sensory-rich. The sensory room supports children with SEND and any child who benefits from that kind of environment. The dining hall is where children learn to share a meal, hold a conversation and feel part of something. The sleep room gives children rest that is unhurried and genuinely restorative. And every week, children head out to local parks, playgrounds and libraries, because the world outside is part of the learning too.
02We fit around your familyExtended hours, 51 weeks a year, and always in touch.
We are open from 7:30am to 6:30pm across 51 weeks of the year, because most families do not run to school-term rhythms. Full year, term time, half days or the occasional ad-hoc session, we will find an arrangement that works for you. And whatever your pattern, you will always know what your child's day looked like. Daily updates, termly parents' meetings and progress reports that reflect where your child truly is. A real partnership with you is part of how we do things here.
03We bring decades of experience25 years in early years, multiple languages, one shared purpose.
Some of our team have spent 25 years or more working in early years, and several hold Level 7 qualifications. Our director brings the added perspective of a career in nursing and midwifery. We are a genuinely multicultural team, and most of us speak three or four languages, which matters in a setting where most of our children are growing up bilingual or multilingual. Whatever your family's background or first language, your child will find someone here who reflects their world.
We run a gentle and calm settling in process. Everything your child needs to blossom is already here.

What Greenwich families say
The families already with us can tell you more than we ever could. What they notice most is how their children come home talking, whether that is counting in Spanish, reciting phrases in Mandarin, or describing exactly what they made for lunch. That tends to say everything.
“I'm so happy with my son’s experience here, he’s 2 and has absolutely thrived since starting. The nursery are always offering jam packed experiences for the children from trying out cooking to exploring local places. The staff are truly wonderful. So friendly, approachable, and clearly passionate about what they do. It’s such a comfort as a parent to know he’s in such caring hands. The senior management team are equally lovely and always available to support, especially during those early, nerve wracking days of settling in.”
“We have used Blossoming for emergency day care for a period over a month. The manager and staff were very welcoming. Our daughter was well looked after and thoroughly enjoyed herself. We wouldn't hesitate to use the service again.”

Where little minds bloom and big futures begin
Our space
Every room here in Greenwich has been designed with purpose. From the baby room with its soft, sensory-rich spaces, to the preschool room built around early literacy and imagination, each environment invites children to explore freely, grow steadily, and feel completely at home.
Outdoors
Children spend time outdoors every day, with regular outings to the beautiful Greenwich park, playgrounds and libraries woven into the weekly rhythm. Fresh air, movement and the wider world are part of how they learn. We also have an 'Energy Hub' which is an indoor grassed area for stimulating adventure.

Ofsted registered, inspected, and rated Good
Blossoming Minds has been rated Good, with inspectors singling out our curriculum, our children's confidence, and the way our team gets down to their level and stays there. It is the kind of recognition that means something, because it reflects what families tell us every day.
"Children are confident to express themselves. They share their opinions and seek others out to play. Staff offer children praise and encouragement."
Things parents ask us
Common questions
Common questions
Three things set us apart. First, a team with extraordinary depth, most of whom have over 25 years of experience and advanced qualifications, led by a director who is also a qualified nurse and midwife. Second, a genuinely multilingual community where children grow up hearing and using multiple languages every single day. Third, we follow the Curiosity Approach, which means we build around your child's questions rather than pushing them towards our answers.
Blossoming Minds Daycare is on 115 Woolwich Road in Greenwich, and we welcome families from Westcombe Park, Maze Hill, North Greenwich and beyond. If you would like to check whether we are convenient for your daily routine, get in touch and we will be happy to help you work it out.
Blossoming Minds welcomes children from three months old through to five years. Each age group has its own dedicated room, from the Daffodil baby room for our youngest children to the Sunflower preschool room for those preparing for school, so every child is always with peers at the same stage.
Yes, we accept both 15 and 30 hour government funded places, subject to eligibility. We will walk you through exactly how your funding applies to your chosen sessions and make sure you are getting the most from it. Just ask when you get in touch and we will take it from there.
Our fees vary depending on the sessions and hours you choose, whether that is full year, term time, or ad hoc days. Full details are on our Fees and Funding page. You can also use your Tax-Free Childcare account. Get in touch and we will talk through what works for your family.
Visit the Book a Tour page to choose a time that works for you. We always encourage a visit in person. It is the best way to see the rooms, meet the team, and get a real sense of whether Blossoming Minds feels right for your family.
Blossoming Minds Daycare is rated Good by Ofsted, following our September 2025 inspection. Inspectors recognised our leaders as highly ambitious, praised the breadth of our curriculum, and highlighted communication and language development as a particular strength. We are proud of that, and we are already working on what comes next.
Availability changes throughout the year and varies by age group and session type. The best way to find out what we currently have is to get in touch or book a visit. We will talk you through what is available now and any upcoming spaces we can hold for you.
Sessions & routine
We are open Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 6:30pm. If your schedule needs something a little different, get in touch and we will do our best to find something that works for your family.
We are open from 7.30am to 6.30pm, and you can choose full days, mornings, afternoons, or a combination across the week. We also offer term-time, full-year, and ad-hoc sessions subject to availability. Whatever your working pattern looks like, we will help you build a routine that fits around it.
Our mission at Blossoming Minds is to provide flexible childcare for the families of Greenwich. Therefore we do not have a minimum attendance, and welcome families to build us into their rhythm at a pace that suits them - whether term time, full year or ad hoc.
Every day at Blossoming Minds is anchored by a gentle rhythm that children can rely on, with space for free exploration, group time, outdoor visits to local parks and libraries, cooking, creative play, and calm rest in a dedicated sleep room. Structured enough to feel settled. Flexible enough to follow where curiosity leads.
Your child's experience
Every room at Blossoming Minds is built around a stage of your child's journey, from the Daffodil baby room through to the Sunflower preschool room, where the focus shifts to early literacy, numeracy, and preparing confidently for school. We follow the EYFS framework, but our curriculum leads with curiosity, language, and the kind of emotional foundations that last far beyond reception year.
We follow statutory EYFS ratios: one adult to every three children in Daffodil for our youngest babies, rising to one to four in Hibiscus and one to eight in Sunflower. In practice, our experienced team works closely with small groups throughout the day, so every child is genuinely known, not just counted.
All children share one calm, nurturing space.
Younger children learn by watching and joining in, while older children build confidence by helping others.
It creates a more natural, family-like environment.Every child settles differently, so we follow their lead. Most children begin with short sessions of around an hour, building up gradually over one to two weeks as their confidence grows. We focus on helping them trust that you will always come back, working entirely at their pace, never ours.
You will hear from us through Famly, where we share photos, observations and updates throughout the week. Each term brings a more detailed progress conversation, and our team is always available at the door for a proper chat. You are never left wondering how your child's day went.
Daily life at nursery
Every day, without exception. Children spend time outside, and go on regular outings to the beatiful Greenwich Park or the playground at East Greenwich Pleasaunce or Greenwich Centre library. Fresh air, movement, and the wider world are part of daily life here, not an occasional treat. We think getting outside is one of the most important things a child can do.
Every day looks a little different, and that is intentional. Children move between creative arts, cooking sessions, yoga, dance, sensory play, and outdoor time at local parks and playgrounds. Group moments build confidence and language, while quieter activities give space to think. The day is shaped as much by what the children are curious about as by what we have planned.
Every day, children head out into the local neighbourhood, visiting Greenwich Park, local playgrounds, and the library as part of their regular routine. We also organise trips further afield across the year, including visits to the theatre, fire station, and mud club. Getting out and into the world is simply part of life here.
Fresh, homecooked meals are prepared daily by our in-house chef, with menus that reflect a range of world flavours and cater for allergies, cultural and dietary requirements. Children also take part in hands-on cooking sessions, making everything from homemade pizzas to smoothies. Snacks are provided throughout the day.
