What Sets Us Apart

Three things that make the difference every day

Every nursery talks about nurturing potential. The families at Blossoming Minds talk about something a little different: flexible childcare that works around busy lives, carefully designed spaces for every age and stage, and a multicultural community where many children grow up speaking two or more languages.

  1. 01

Built for every part of their dayDedicated spaces for learning, play, mealtimes, rest and discovery, all under one roof.

Every room at Blossoming Minds exists for a reason. The baby room is calm, soft and sensory-rich. The sensory room supports children with SEND and any child who benefits from that kind of environment. The dining hall is where children learn to share a meal, hold a conversation and feel part of something. The sleep room gives children rest that is unhurried and genuinely restorative. And every week, children head out to local parks, playgrounds and libraries, because the world outside is part of the learning too.

  2. 02

We fit around your familyExtended hours, 51 weeks a year, and always in touch.

We are open from 7:30am to 6:30pm across 51 weeks of the year, because most families do not run to school-term rhythms. Full year, term time, half days or the occasional ad-hoc session, we will find an arrangement that works for you. And whatever your pattern, you will always know what your child's day looked like. Daily updates, termly parents' meetings and progress reports that reflect where your child truly is. A real partnership with you is part of how we do things here.

  3. 03

We bring decades of experience25 years in early years, multiple languages, one shared purpose.

Some of our team have spent 25 years or more working in early years, and several hold Level 7 qualifications. Our director brings the added perspective of a career in nursing and midwifery. We are a genuinely multicultural team, and most of us speak three or four languages, which matters in a setting where most of our children are growing up bilingual or multilingual. Whatever your family's background or first language, your child will find someone here who reflects their world.

We run a gentle and calm settling in process. Everything your child needs to blossom is already here.

Every child, fully settled.

What Greenwich families say

The families already with us can tell you more than we ever could. What they notice most is how their children come home talking, whether that is counting in Spanish, reciting phrases in Mandarin, or describing exactly what they made for lunch. That tends to say everything.

  • The care givers are kind, warm and attentive toward my child's needs and development. My son has grown more confident and social in the last 6 months. The atmosphere is good with teachers taking care of dietary requirements, special mention to his teacher Chandu ma’am for taking such good care of him. They also do lot of both indoor and outdoor fun activities for kids for their overall development. I would highly recommend blossoming Minds for little ones.

  • I'm so happy with my son’s experience here, he’s 2 and has absolutely thrived since starting. The nursery are always offering jam packed experiences for the children from trying out cooking to exploring local places. The staff are truly wonderful. So friendly, approachable, and clearly passionate about what they do. It’s such a comfort as a parent to know he’s in such caring hands. The senior management team are equally lovely and always available to support, especially during those early, nerve wracking days of settling in.

  • We have used Blossoming for emergency day care for a period over a month. The manager and staff were very welcoming. Our daughter was well looked after and thoroughly enjoyed herself. We wouldn't hesitate to use the service again.

Day in the life

A typical day

7:30am

Breakfast & Free Play

A calm start. Children arrive in their own time, settle in with breakfast, and move into free play at their own pace before the day picks up.

9:00am

Circle Time

The whole group comes together. Songs, stories, conversation, and a shared look at what the day holds. A moment that sets the tone.

9:20am

Activity Time

A mix of child-led exploration and adult-guided activities. Children choose where to focus, with practitioners stepping in to extend and deepen play.

10:20am

Morning Snack

A rolling snack so children eat when they are ready. Fresh fruit, water, and a natural pause before heading outside.

10:40am

Outdoor & Physical Time

An hour outside, whatever the weather. Whether it is a local outing or active play in the outdoor space, fresh air is a fixed part of every morning.

11:40am

Getting Ready for Lunch

Hands washed, tables set. A short, purposeful transition that helps children wind down from outdoor play and builds independence day by day.

12:00pm

Lunch

A proper sit-down meal. Freshly prepared, served without rushing. A social moment in the middle of the day.

12:30pm

Rest & Quiet Time

Younger children sleep in their own cot following their home routine as closely as possible. Older children have quiet time with books and calm activities.

1:30pm

Afternoon Snack & Free Play

Children wake and eat when they are ready. Relaxed free play follows - an unstructured start to the afternoon for those who are up.

2:30pm

Circle Time

A second gathering point in the day. Stories, songs, and a moment to bring the group back together before afternoon activities begin.

2:50pm

Outdoor & Physical Time

Another hour outside. Energy burned, curiosity sparked. A different outing, a run around, or active play before the day begins to wind down.

3:50pm

Getting Ready for Tea

Children help tidy up and wash hands. A brief, calm routine that marks the shift from active afternoon to tea time.

4:00pm

Tea Time

A lighter meal to round off the afternoon. Friendly, relaxed, with no clock ticking.

4:30pm

Activity Time

Child-led and adult-guided activities to close the day. A chance to finish a project, try something new, or simply play with focus.

5:30pm

Free Play & Home Time

The day winds down at its own pace. Children play freely while families arrive. No rushing, no pressure. A calm goodbye at the end of the day.

Ofsted registered, inspected, and rated Good

Blossoming Minds has been rated Good, with inspectors singling out our curriculum, our children's confidence, and the way our team gets down to their level and stays there. It is the kind of recognition that means something, because it reflects what families tell us every day.

"Children are confident to express themselves. They share their opinions and seek others out to play. Staff offer children praise and encouragement."
